EMERGENZA BRIDEZILLA!!

Avete mai sentito parlare della Bridezilla??  Trattasi della peculiare unione tra una sposa e…Godzilla! Con questo termine gli inglesi sono soliti indicare la sposina che  si fa letteralmente travolgere dagli eventi prima della cerimonia, diventando in poco tempo l’incubo del parrucchiere, del fiorista…e dei parenti!

Il terrore che qualcosa possa andar storto è un pensiero che l’accompagna fino all’altare; ogni più piccolo imprevisto per lei si trasforma in una enorme minaccia e la crisi di nervi è sempre in agguato…come evitare tutto questo? Nessuno può prevedere come andrà la vostra giornata, ma alcuni piccoli trucchi potrebbero aiutarvi a farvi arrivare al gran giorno più rilassate e senza occhiaie:

• Staccate la spina per un giorno e correte alla Spa più vicina con l’amica del cuore: un massaggio antri stress sarà un vero toccasana per il vostro fisico provato dai preparativi

• Anche il cibo è dalla vostra parte: via libera ad avena, mandorle, una tazza di the….una bella dieta disintossicante infatti, avrà il miracoloso potere di farvi sentire immediatamente più belle e più in forma che mai
• In procinto delle nozze evitate di sfogliare in maniera convulsa riviste di abiti da sposa: le jeux son faits, come direbbero i francesi, e l’unica cosa che otterrete è quella di ritrovarvi a pensare “ecco, dovevo sceglierlo così…”, sprofondando nell’ansia più totale
• Preparate un kit di emergenza: per quanto tutto possa essere stato pianificato nei minimi dettagli, un piccolo imprevisto potrebbe capitare; arrivare preparate allora, è l’arma migliore per batterlo sul tempo. Qualche giorno prima delle nozze, preparate un piccolo kit che contenga ago e filo, collant di riserva, trucchi per rinfrescare il make up….e preparatevi a sfoderarlo in caso di bisogno!
• Meglio pensare fin da subito ad un budget e cercare di rispettarlo: scoprire di aver sforato a metà dell’organizzazione farebbe saltare i nervi anche alla più tranquilla delle sposine

• E infine, last but not least, affidarsi ad un wedding planner potrebbe rivelarsi la scelta più azzeccata: vi solleverà dalle seccature senza togliervi il piacere di organizzare

She’s terrified by the thought that something could go wrong; every tiny accident turns into an huge threat, and nervous breakdown is always lurking…..how to avoid all this? Nobody can forsee how your day is going to be, but some little tricks can help you arriving to the Big Day more relaxed and with no eye sockets:

• Pull the plug for a day and run to the nearest SPA with your best friend: an anti stress massage will be a cure-all for your body, which has been tested by preparations

• Food can be on your side: let’s give the green light to oat, almonds, a cup of tea….a detox diet has the miraculous power  to make you feel immediately more beautiful and in form than ever
• Before your wedding day, avoid to browse in a convulsive way magazines of wedding dresses: le jeux son faits, as French people would say, and the only thing you will obtain is to find yourself thinking “I knew it, I had to choose that one..”, sinking with anxiety
• Prepare an emergency kit: however everything may have been planned in detail, some tiny unforeseen occurance could happen; being ready is the best weapon to beat them to the punch. A few days before, prepare a small kit containing needle and threat, extra pantyhose, lipstick and mascara….and show it off in case of emergency!

• Plan a budget and try to respect it: discovering you have exceeded in the middle of the organization could faze even the calmest bride
• And  last but not least, trusting in a wedding planner could be the best choice: they will discharge you from annoyances, without taking you off the pleasure of the organization.

So, just follow our advice and take a deep breath….remember: a smiling and relaxed bride is enough to make your Big Day perfect!

E PRIMAVERA SIA!! / LET IT BE SPRING!!

Ci siamo, ancora pochi giorni e sarà primavera! E’ ora di lasciarsi alle spalle il grigio ed il freddo dell’inverno per fare posto al sole e ai meravigliosi colori che questa stagione porta con sé.

Diamo il via libera alle tonalità più allegre che ci siano: largo al fucsia, all’arancione, al celeste, al giallo e chi più ne ha, più ne metta!

Questi colori potranno trovare agilmente posto sulle nostre tavole (un dettaglio in queste tonalità potrebbe fare la differenza!), tra le decorazioni ed i festoni ad un party e perché no, nel bouquet di una sposa.

E proprio per dare sfogo alla nostra creatività sopita dai lunghi mesi invernali, perché non tentare qualche accostamento insolito ma assolutamente originale?

Forse non ci avevate ancora pensato, ma avreste mai detto che il fucsia è perfetto assieme all’arancione o al verde acido? E che dire dell’accoppiata giallo limone – turchese?

Non abbiate paura ad accostare un freddo celeste ad un rosso fuoco o un caldo arancio ad un più tenue albicocca.

Here we are, still a few days and it will be spring! It’s time to leave behind winter’s grey and cold to allow sun and wonderful colors to break in.

Let’s give the green light to the funniest shade we know: fuchsia, orange, blue, yellow and anything that comes to your mind.

These colors could find place on our tables (a detail on these tonalities could make the difference!), among decorations and festoons to a party or why not, in a bride’s bouquet.

And to give vent to our creativeness quelled by long wintry months, why don’t you attempt some unusual but absolutely original combination?

Maybe you didn’t think about it yet, but would you ever state that fuchsia is perfect along with orange or acidic green? And what about a yellow and tourquoise combination?

Don’t be afraid to put a cold blue next to a red fire or a hot orange to a softer apricot.

HARLEM SHAKE MANIA

Ok…questo ve lo devo TROPPO far vedere…. il nuovo trend di nozze, feste e party, che sta impazzando sul web e sostituendo flash mob, gangnam style e compagnia…..

Basta mettere insieme un tormentone, una folla di amici, riprendere il tutto…. e il risultato è un Harlem Shake!!! Un piccolo video-sketch di 30 secondi, dove nella prima parte non succede apparentemente nulla di strano, tranne uno o due personaggi un po’ bizzarri che movimentano la scena.. ma nella seconda parte del video, succede il finimondo!! Una folla di pazzi scatenati con ombrelli, sacchi a pelo, biciclette, costumoni, caschi da Darth Vader e altri attrezzi strani invade la stanza!!

Guardate questi video….. valgono veramente la pena!! Voi cosa ne pensate?? Potrebbe essere lo spunto per il vostro prossimo party???

Ok… I really MUST show you this….the new trend for weddings and parties, which is going like crazy on the web and substituting flash mobs, gangnam style and company.

Put a big hit and a group of friends together, then film it all…. you’ll have an Harlem Shake!!! A little video-sketch of 30 seconds, where nothing apparently happens in the first part, except for one or two weird individuals moving all around…. but in the second part, all hell brakes loose!! A crowd of shaking crazy people with umbrellas, sleeping bags, bicycles, costumes, Darth Vader’s style helmets and other strange tools breaks into the room!

Watch these videos….they’re really worthy!! What do you think?? May they be a hint for your next party ???
